Hello and welcome to Grange Golf Club’s website. We hope you enjoy browsing and perhaps we’ll see you on the Course during 2021.

We feel very fortunate to be members and Captains at Grange Golf Club.  It is a truly unique course; mature, challenging and picturesque in equal measure.  Grange boasts 24 fine holes in the foothills of the Dublin mountains.  Many of the original features of the 1910 James Baird designed course are still in play and it has evolved respectfully over the decades, incorporating modern specifications to all aspects of the playing surfaces from tee to green.  Our practice and warm-up facilities have been greatly enhanced in recent years, to the design specification of our own Ryder Cup hero Paul McGinley, providing members and guests with what we proudly call The Grange Experience – a thoroughly memorable time away from the routines of life.

Mention of Paul puts in mind the other outstanding golfing achievements of Grange members over the years.  Centenary Captain Sheena McElroy’s accolades include Irish Senior Champion while the late David Sheahan, for whom one of our 18 hole courses is named, played Walker Cup. Mary Gorry captained the Irish ladies’ international team and Hazel Kavanagh is a former tour professional.  Our Junior and Intermediate Clubs are populated with many gifted young players who, no doubt, will add their names to the Role of Honour in years to come.

The warm, caring community of members and staff at Grange ensures that new members enjoy their golf with welcoming friends before taking refreshments together in our various indoor and outdoor settings.

And in times when the pandemic prohibits play, the General Committee seizes the opportunity to fine tune strategic plans to ensure Grange maintains its enviable status among Ireland’s leading parkland courses, for generations to come.

Enjoy your visit, virtual or real, to Grange Golf Club.
